To You – I Hope You Rise!

Words of encouragement for those who may need it! 🙂

On the darkest of nights,

When shadows aren’t seen,

And hope is a distant dream.

You feel lost.

And do not show the world that you are distraught.

The road ahead is tarnished and worn.

You may be hurt, angry, and torn.

Amidst this adversity, a strength you seem to possess.

A dignified silence you give.

When the world spreads venom and hate,

People may have formed an opinion and sealed your fate.

Your courage amidst adversity shines through.

Here’s a small prayer I say for you.

I hope you find the strength to rise again.

And learn to smile again.

In the darkness, I hope you find your light.

Whenever a shooting star rushes across the sky,

Or whenever there is a meteor shower or two,

Or then, when an airplane flies through

Twinkling like fairy lights among the stars.

In the darkness, I hope you find your light.

Whenever lightning strikes.

Like the full moon, you shine bright.

In the darkness, I hope you find your light.

And with you, we find it too.

The light which shines through

The one of love, acceptance, courage and hope

I’m sending you love, prayers and healing

Here’s hoping you overcome life’s peculiar dealings.

And lead the way for us all.

I hope you rise.

Rise, you must, and rise tall.
